These terms and conditions apply to all events organised by Naomi’s Garden. By registering for an event, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
- A place on an event is confirmed once registration has been completed and any applicable fee has been received.
- Any registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- Naomi’s Garden reserves the right to amend event pricing, availability or details at any time prior to confirmation.
2. Cancellations and Changes
- If you are unable to attend, please inform Naomi’s Garden as soon as possible.
- Places are non-transferable unless agreed in advance.
- Failure to attend, late arrival or withdrawal during the event will not result in a refund.
- Naomi’s Garden reserves the right to amend event details where necessary, including route, timings or format, due to factors such as weather, safety considerations or circumstances beyond our control.
- If an event is cancelled by Naomi’s Garden, participants will be offered a transfer to a future event or a refund of any fees paid.
- Naomi’s Garden is not responsible for any external costs incurred, including travel or accommodation.
3. Participation Requirements
- Participants must ensure they are fit and able to take part in the event.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate clothing, footwear and equipment.
- Naomi’s Garden may refuse or withdraw participation at any time if it is considered necessary for health, safety or welfare reasons.
- Participants must follow all instructions given by event organisers, leaders and volunteers at all times.
4. Risk and Responsibility
- Participation in events may involve physical exertion and inherent risk.
- All participants take part at their own risk.
- Naomi’s Garden, its staff, volunteers and event partners shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss or damage arising from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
5. Health and Medical
- Participants are responsible for their own health and must inform Naomi’s Garden of any condition that may affect their ability to take part safely.
- Participants should seek medical advice where appropriate before taking part.
- Any required medication must be brought by the participant.
6. Safety and Conduct
- Participants must act responsibly and with consideration for others at all times.
- Participants must adhere to any safety instructions, cut-off times and guidance provided during the event.
- Naomi’s Garden reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour may put themselves or others at risk.
7. Age Requirements
- Participants must be aged 18 or over, unless accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
8. Photography and Media
- Photographs and video may be taken during events for promotional purposes.
- By taking part, you consent to Naomi’s Garden using such images in marketing, social media and communications.
9. Data and Communication
- Personal information provided during registration will be used to administer the event and ensure participant safety.
- Naomi’s Garden may contact you in relation to the event and related activities.
10. General
- Naomi’s Garden reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or affects your statutory rights.
11. Contract Formation
- A contract is formed once your registration has been accepted and confirmed by Naomi’s Garden.
12. Accuracy of Information
- Participants must ensure that all information provided during registration is complete and accurate.
- Naomi’s Garden reserves the right to cancel participation where information is found to be incomplete, false or misleading.
13. Fundraising
- Where a minimum sponsorship applies, participants agree to raise and pay this amount within the stated timeframe.
- All sponsorship funds raised are considered donations to Naomi’s Garden and may not be refundable.
14. Event Viability
- Naomi’s Garden reserves the right to cancel an event if minimum participant numbers are not met.
15. Insurance
- Participants are responsible for arranging their own insurance where appropriate.
16. Complaints
- Any concerns during the event should be raised with event staff at the time.
- Formal complaints should be submitted in writing within 28 days of the event.
17. Law
- These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
